Work progresses in the midst of COVID19 global pandemic, the team at G8, Sunseap & ZTT Cables conducted a virtual factory test before taking delivery of a 22kV subsea composite power cable for Singapore's largest offshore floating solar park. Critical technical and quality parameters of the cable were measured and monitored from the factory virtually.
The two days test had covered construction inspection, DC conductor resistance, AC voltage test, insulation resistance test, electrical continuity of copper shield and TDR test as per the ITP document.
